What is 1/9 as a decimal?
1/9 as a decimal is 0.1111
The decimal form of the fraction is the representation of the whole number and the fraction part separated by the decimal point.
The decimal form of a fraction is obtained by dividing the numerator of the fraction by the denominator.
A decimal number answer is arrived at when the division does not give 0 as a remainder in any of the steps. The decimal point is added to the quotient when the divisor becomes greater than the dividend and cannot be divided.
