Study Insurance Exam from Alaska with 20 practice variants of 25 questions each, worked explanations, and original learning diagrams. The instructional bank is shared across states; geographical coverage means access to preparation, not a claim of a distinct local exam.

Overview
Exam Overview
Policy structure, life and health, property and casualty, risk, and insurance math.
Select the intended line of authority before following an examination outline. Study policy language and the state producer rules separately. Numerical exercises give simplified policy assumptions and do not determine coverage in a real claim.
Use Alaska government and agency directory to locate the relevant state agency. For a municipal trade credential, verify the city or county where the work will occur.

Worked examples
Practice walkthrough
A fictional health policy has no deductible for this example and pays 80% of an allowed covered charge. The patient pays the remaining 20%. If the allowed charge is $750, how much is the patient's share?
Answer: $150
The stated patient share is $750 × 0.20 = $150. The insurer's 80% share is $600. The percentage must be applied to the allowed charge, and 20% does not mean a flat $20 payment.

Practice walkthrough
A hypothetical policy requires a remaining $400 deductible, then pays 75% of the rest of a $2,000 allowed covered charge. No other limits apply. What total does the insured pay?
Answer: $800
After the $400 deductible, $1,600 remains. The insured owes 25% of that remainder, or $400, in addition to the deductible, for a total of $800. Applying 25% to the entire bill would ignore the policy's specified order.
